Responsibilities
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing on welds and plates to ensure structural integrity and compliance with standards
- Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing to detect surface and subsurface defects
- Execute Radiographic Testing using Gamma rays and interpret radiographic results to identify flaws
- Independently prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Maintain calibration records for all inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate closely with yard teams following company QHSE procedures and yard practices to uphold safety and quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a minimum PCN Level 2 or ISO Level 2 certification in NDTSS
- Possess at least 2 years of working experience in applicable non-destructive testing methods
- Knowledgeable in ASME, DNV, and API codes and standards relevant to inspection activities
