NDT Inspector

Job Responsibilities:

. Inspect components in accordance with OEM manuals to ensure their functions and airworthiness.

. Interpret engineering drawings in manuals and perform inspection accordingly

. Familiar with Non Destructive Testing (NDT) processes including Magnetic Particle - ASTM E1444, Fluorescent Penetrant - ASTM E1417, X-Ray - ASTM E1742, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic, and able to troubleshoot in daily operation

. Perform NDT to locate and identify defects and abnormalities on components

. Evaluate NDT results and prepare summary reports

. Develop work instructions on new capabilities and to be submitted for NDT Level III

. Participate and support continuous improvement, cost saving, safety and quality tasks

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years of NDT experience in aviation industry

. Experienced in working in companies approved by regulatory bodies (i.e. HKCAD, EASA, FAA)

. Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill

. Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines

. Highly skilled and experienced in NDT processes

. Licensed under EN4179, BINDT, NIST or relevant NDT approval boards

. Willing to take day and night roster shifts

. Able to pass Jaeger 1 vision test on near vision and colour perception
