Role: Multi Country Sales Director Business Information
The Multi Country Sales Director for Business Information is a senior leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across multiple countries. The role involves developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, and building strong client relationships to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in business information solutions, expertise in complex, multi-country sales environments, and the ability to lead diverse teams to outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for business information products and services across assigned countries, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage country sales managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance sales culture and facilitating knowledge sharing across regions.
Revenue Growth: Set ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to achieve and exceed regional revenue goals.
Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, develop go-to-market plans, and expand the company's footprint across existing and new countries.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and partners; act as the primary escalation point for major accounts.
Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to executive leadership on regional performance, opportunities, and risks.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to tailor offerings to regional needs and ensure seamless delivery to clients.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-country or regional sales teams in the business information, data solutions, or related sectors.
Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex, multi-market environments.
Strong understanding of business information products, market trends, and client needs across diverse geographies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience working in matrixed, multicultural organizations; fluency in English required, additional languages a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently across assigned countries and regions.
