Multi-Asset Investment Director, SEA

Our client is a global financial institution currently building out its ASEAN asset management platform, with Singapore positioned as the regional investment and client solutions hub. This is a strategic front-office hire as part of the firm's regional expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute ASEAN investment insights and market perspectives into regional investment discussions and portfolio positioning
• Research and develop ASEAN-focused investment strategies and product ideas
• Build and deepen relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private banks and wealth intermediaries across Southeast Asia
• Act as a product specialist to articulate the firm's investment philosophy, capabilities and portfolio positioning to clients
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the long-term growth of the ASEAN asset management franchise

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of experience within asset management, investment strategy, client portfolio management or product specialist functions
• Strong investment understanding with the ability to translate investment views into client conversations
• Experience engaging institutional and/or sophisticated wealth investors across Asia
• Blend of investment and commercial/client-facing capabilities, rather than a pure portfolio management background
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable operating within a growing regional platform
