Job Description

Our client, a leading beauty retail group, is seeking a Manager, Merchandising Operations to drive operational excellence and optimize merchandising processes across the business. This role will be responsible for improving merchandising efficiency, leading cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of key brand activations and strategic sales initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving collaboration across teams while delivering impactful retail and merchandising outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the end-to-end merchandising animation cycle and pitch process to ensure effective and timely execution.
  • Drive operational execution of key sales moments including holiday campaigns, product launches, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability across brand activation activities.
  • Manage and coordinate brand launches, animations, and merchandising initiatives to ensure successful execution across channels.
  • Oversee relationships with fixture and Visual Merchandising (VM) vendors, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of merchandising fixtures including Front of Store (FOS) displays and campaign installations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, optimize workflows, and implement scalable solutions across merchandising operations.
  • Track project deliverables and provide updates to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in merchandising operations, retail operations, or related functions.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional projects and leading complex operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize processes within a retail or merchandising environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Experience managing external vendors including negotiations, performance management, and relationship development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Prior experience in merchandising operations projects such as store openings, brand launches, event execution, or retail activations is highly advantageous.
