Job Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic leader to head our Truck Sales organization across South East Asia(SEA) region. In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape and drive the regional sales strategy, accelerate business growth, and strengthen our market position and brand presence across diverse and dynamic markets.

What You'll Do

  • Define and lead the Truck Sales SEA strategy, translating global direction into impactful regional execution.
  • Drive sustainable growth in revenue, market share, and profitability across SEA markets.
  • Lead regional business planning, including sales performance, pricing strategy, product positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities,partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
  • Set clear performance targets and ensure stronggovernance, forecast discipline, and accountability across markets.
  • Guide and empower Market Managers and GeneralDistributors to maximize performance and customer reach.
  • Strengthen distributor and dealer network effectiveness, driving professionalization and capability development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and senior stakeholders across the region.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical market and customer challenges, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration across different departments, e.g. Finance, Customer Service & Parts (CSP), and Network Development.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a highly engaged and performing team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and customer focus.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and ethical standards, safeguarding Daimler Truck's reputation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Automotive, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Proven leadership experience (12+ years) in commercial vehicles, automotive, or heavy industry, with regional exposure.
  • Strong track record in shaping and executing multi-country sales strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge across markets and capable of influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-border teams within a complex, matrix organization.
  • Deep commercial acumen, with expertise in sales strategy, distributor management, and market development.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills at Senior Management/HQ level.
  • High cultural agility and ability to operate effectively across diverse SEA markets.
  • Strong governance and compliance awareness within a regional business environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the SEA region.
  • Eligibility to work in Singapore in accordance with local regulations.
