Motion Graphic Designer - Freelance

An animator is required to design and integrate cinematic AR-style overlays for a 2-minute launch video of a health AI app. The role involves creating minimalist, futuristic graphics that seamlessly blend into live-action footage, inspired by styles seen in Friend.coms launch film and Apple Vision Pro campaigns. Key moments include social media clips emerging from a phone, dynamic health notifications, real-time insights such as HRV and mood tracking, and a closing constellation sequence. The overlays should feature subtle motion tracking, depth, glow, and realistic blending to deliver a polished, cinematic final product. This is a one-week remote project.

Responsibilities

• Create AR-style graphic overlays for live-action video sequences.
• Design and animate notifications, data graphs, and AI insights to appear naturally within scenes.
• Add motion tracking and depth to ensure overlays integrate seamlessly with footage.
• Execute a high-energy montage of health notifications and influencer content.
• Animate a closing constellation sequence with rolling text describing Pico as your Friend / Coach / Doctor.
• Ensure overlays have a minimalist, futuristic aesthetic aligned with project references.
• Deliver all final assets within the one-week project timeline.

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience in motion graphics, compositing, and AR-style overlay design.
• Strong proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent animation software.
• Ability to perform precise motion tracking and realistic compositing into live-action footage.
• Portfolio showcasing futuristic, UI-driven, or AR-inspired design work.
• Strong eye for minimal, cinematic visual styles with clean animations and subtle details.
• Reliability in working under tight deadlines and delivering polished assets remotely.
• Clear communication and ability to interpret creative references accurately.
