Monitoring and Evaluation Executive (Part-time: 3 days work week or 24h/week)
About the Role
The Monitoring and Evaluation Executive will support the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation team to measure the impact of DOT's services as well as support the organisation in special projects that aim to expand DOT's impact and thought leadership in the social service industry. This role will report to the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and work closely with other programme functions, including Programme & Operations, Employment Bridging & Employer Engagement, and Volunteer Management to obtain data and provide evaluation and feedback. The role will also involve participating in an in-person organisation-wide bi-weekly meeting.
Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation
. Support the monitoring and evaluation of DOT's programmes and schemes
. Provide accurate and timely reporting of the findings to internal and external stakeholders
. Translate findings into reports, presentations, online posts and other communication platforms
. Administrative duties such as data collection, database management (on Salesforce), preparing data for analysis, organising of resources, reaching out to respondents etc.
. Conduct surveys, interviews, focus group discussions either in-person or via distribution of the research tool
. Conduct observations during programmes wherever required (some weekday evenings required)
. Manage resources within M&E, including survey reimbursements
. Contribute to the development of a succinct and comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework that serves the organisational needs and meet industry standard
. Work with the team to develop robust quantitative, qualitative and participatory approaches to gather insights on programme performances.
. Understand existing social social landscape and direction for outcomes and impact evaluation and adopt best practices in a timely manner
Research
. Support existing research portfolio and future joint research and evaluation studies and/or advocacy in line with the organisation's mission and vision
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of research and data analysis experience, preferably with social services or non-profit
. Singaporean or PR

. Strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness
. Ability to exercise integrity and reflexivity in the research process
. Team-player and willingness to collaborate
. Analytical skill proficiency in research methodologies (both quantitative and qualitative), with an eye for observing trends and contextual factors
. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
. Familiarity with Salesforce, or ability to adapt and learn a new tool
. Detail-oriented, conscientious and responsible with data
. Strong written communication skills
. Willing to be hands-on with both the research work and other organisational involvement
