Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the pre-school.
- Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters, providing inputs and perspectives, and mentoring teachers in areas of pedagogy, delivery and use of tools and resources
- In collaboration with the team, nurture and support the children in their personal, social and academic growth by designing and delivering dynamic and responsive learning programmes.
- Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the children's needs and the School's philosophy
- Value holistic education
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Able to lead a centre independently.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL)
- At least 1 years of experience for Principal role or 2 years for Vice-Principal role in a pre-school setting and exposure in a supervisory role
- Experience as a Senior Teacher may be considered for Vice-Principal role
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in curriculum and teaching pedagogy
- Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring children's lives
- Experience in handling SPARK Certification process
- Hands-on experience in mentoring and coaching educators towards quality teaching practices
