This is a leading energy company, engaged in oil and gas exploration, refining, distribution, and global trading. The trading division plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chains, managing risk, and maximizing value across global energy markets. Due to business growth, they are hiring a Middle Distillate Trader in Singapore

Role
Reporting to the Trading Manager. The trader involves trading physical middle distillates (in Asia-Pacific and global markets, managing cargo flows, and identifying arbitrage and blending opportunities. It requires strong relationships with market counterparts, coordination with internal teams for deal execution, and the use of paper instruments to hedge exposure. The trader will also monitor market trends and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor&aposs degree in business, engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of middle distillate trading experience in physical trading. Strong knowledge of physical and paper markets (ICE futures, swaps, spreads), proven P&L track record, and a solid network. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in trading platforms
