We are hiring a Merchandising Executive to support product buying, category planning, and inventory performance across assigned merchandise categories. This role is suitable for candidates with merchandising, purchasing, or buyer support experience who are keen to grow in a retail environment.

Location: Serangoon
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Salary: Up to S$3,400 per month
Key responsibilities
- Source and manage products for assigned merchandise categories
- Support assortment planning, category mix, and range selection based on business needs
- Monitor sales, stock movement, and pricing performance to improve sell-through
- Prepare sales and cost analysis to support supplier discussions and buying decisions
- Coordinate with suppliers on purchase orders, promotions, delivery schedules, and trading terms
- Manage stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items
- Identify slow-moving items and support action plans to improve inventory turnover
- Work closely with internal teams on promotions, launches, and merchandising activities
- Prepare regular sales and inventory reports with recommendations
- Conduct market research on product trends and competitor activity
- Perform store visits to check merchandising standards and execution quality
- Support store openings, events, and other merchandising duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- At least 1 to 2 years of merchandising, purchasing, buying support, or relevant experience
- Experience handling high-SKU retail categories will be an advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
