Job Summary
This position is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, assigned sales quotas, and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company's medical device products and related services.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by selling the portfolio of medical device products to new and existing customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute tactical sales plans to acquire new business and expand current accounts, aligning strategies with market opportunities.
- Maintain full ownership and management of designated accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance technical visibility and strengthen the company's brand image across all accounts.
- Establish and manage a target list and sales forecast for prospective accounts to prioritize efforts and optimize sales outcomes.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and technicians to facilitate product adoption.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to groups of varying sizes, effectively communicating product benefits to prospective end-users.
- Conduct proactive prospecting activities to identify and engage potential customers.
- Apply diverse selling techniques and skills to consistently meet or exceed minimum sales quota standards.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management on sales activities, forecasts, and project progress.
- Continuously acquire and update knowledge of competitive products and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Preferably 1 year of sales experience, ideally within the medical industry in Singapore.
- Experience managing customer accounts, preferably in the medical industry.
- Understanding of the medical device market and sales landscape within the Singapore healthcare sector.
- Exposure to customer engagement and account management best practices.
- Ability to develop strategic business plans and deliver effective communication and presentations.
- Proven skills in building strong internal and external relationships to support business success.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Preferably specialized experience in medical industry sales - corporate or equivalent.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
