You will be part of the cell therapy laboratory supporting the Haemopoietic Cell Therapy & Transplant program (HCTTP) who is responsible for performing highly technical and complex cellular processes to prepare cellular therapy products that conform to the highest standards of quality and safety.
These include cell separation, cryopreservation, and quantification of cellular products for stem cell transplant or other immunotherapeutic procedures for clinical use.
You will work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care. You will also undertake critical role in the administration of cellular therapy treatments for transplant patients.
There are ample opportunities to participate in research and developmental projects that are related to cell therapy. The work environment in this laboratory advocates for team player who is meticulous with strong analytical skills.
Job Requirements
Degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or its equivalent
Able to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment
Good team player with strong communication skills
You are required to work 2 rotating shifts, including staggered and extended working hours, coverage after hours, weekends and public holidays to meet the hospital needs.
