Position Summary:
- Supports Medical Customer Engagement & Capability Manager for end-to-end execution and coordination of SEA & India trainings for Medical Science Liaison (MSLs)/ Medical Affairs teams in the region.
- Support Medical Education and Compliance Lead for execution and coordination of SEA Medical Education activities.
Capability Building
- Support Medical Customer Engagement & Capability Manager to identify training needs and implement effective and results driven training programs to support the development needs.
- Develop strategic thinking and the ability to take on difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Medical Customer Engagement & Capability Manager to assess and address the MSL team's onboarding needs, implementing streamlined systems to ensure a seamless onboarding process for newly hired MSLs.
- Leveraging and building robust cross functional partnerships with cross functional teams and regional teams, to identify and implement effective MSL Training through new tools, platforms and experiences from internal companies or external best practices.
- Collaborate with OpCos and APAC Regional Therapeutic Area teams, to develop and update Field Medical/ Medical Affairs training curriculum.
- Partner with Medical Excellence & Compliance Lead and Country Medical Heads for new hire onboarding and to ensure appropriate training is assigned to regional MSL/MAF associates.
- Partnering with patient support groups to bring the value of our innovative treatments.
- Collaborate with the MSL team to identify and assess training and development needs, ensuring continuous improvement in knowledge, skills, and competencies. Additionally, conduct SEA & India training, if necessary.
- Support the Medical Customer Engagement & Capability Manager and Excellence team in implementing digital solutions that empower the MAF team to enhance HCP engagement.
- Ensure that all MAF eLearning training programs are available and easily accessible through MAF Academy, SUMMIT and other MAF platforms
Medical Education and Compliance Operations and Efficiencies
- Scientific sourcing and referencing of Medical scientific materials
- Scientific write up / summary post assigned TA CME activities
- Accomplish ad-hoc task assigned by TA Leads
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory guidelines, HCBI and company policy
- Submissions/ renewals -evaluation form and Business relationship creation
- Oversee agency partners in coordination of Medical Education activities including accountability for tracking progress of projects, their execution, and financial management.
- Collate and provide department performance metrics, reporting and communications to internal stakeholders
- Post-event tracking, filing as appropriate according to document retention and archiving policies
- Ad hoc:
- Submission to relevant external institutions and agencies
- Routing of letters and agreements for signature
- Assist the Medical Education and Compliance Associate in arranging the logistics needed for a Medical Education Event
Logistics
- Metric Collection and Analysis
- Assistance with Slide preparation for CME activities
- Sourcing for logistic information for CME activities to support compliance submissions
- Assistance with preparation on event collaterals for CME activities
- Accomplish ad-hoc task assigned by Medical Education and Compliance (e.g. MAF newsletter, Townhall, MAF Compliance Day)
Requirements
- Degree in any Science discipline with at least 1 year of event planning and management or related area, and preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
- Project management desirable
