Scope of role:

  • Administration services for the team as a whole and for individual client projects.
  • Junior and account executive implementation activities across a broad range of projects and disciplines..

Reporting Structure:

  • On a day-to-day basis you will report to an Account Director/ Account Manager/s to provide support to the day-to-day requirements.
  • You will be working with the trading community and other specialist services within the agency to deliver campaigns.

The role encompasses:

  • Manage end to end in the media planning development process.
  • Management of the implementation of plans through to their delivery and quality control of all buys.
  • Manage deliveries from specialist services within the agency.
  • Ensuring all media goals and strategies are delivered by all managed and executed within budgets.
  • Ensure due diligence on media budgets.
  • The day-to-day project management of media solutions.
  • Work closely with the regional team to ensure quality of the work and meets guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Administration

  • Account administration management such as arrangement of meetings, preparation of work-in-progress reports; compilation of project reports; financial administration etc. A level of pro-activity to these tasks will ensure the smooth running of the account(s) and team along with compliance to deadlines.

2. Competitive Reviews

  • Compiling competitive data and helping to create insightful presentations. This should include the interrogation and manipulation of data, presented in a clear and concise manner, and supported with a point of view / implication.

3. Preparing Buying Briefs

  • Support Account Managers in helping to prepare buying briefs for the Trading Community or directly to the media vendors.
  • To follow up the brief by finding the answers to any questions asked by the trading teams and further having an opinion in assessing the media responses.

4. Strategic media development

  • Involvement of insights & media strategy development across client categories in line with global/regional guidance.
  • You will be expected to be a vital part of our creative offer; this will include participating in formal and informal brainstorm sessions; and generating fresh new ideas.

5. Origination of the Media Plan

  • Support the manager to create clear and coherent plans that bring the media strategy to life.
  • Support in client presentation and workshops when required.
  • Work closely with the regional team to ensure smooth and relevant translation from strategy to plan.

6. Execution of media plans and campaigns

  • Ensure that signed media plans are executed in a timely manner.
  • To work closely with ad trafficking team, site tagging team, ad ops team & campaign tagging team where necessary.
  • For self-served platforms, ensure that campaigns are setup and executed accurately based on signed plans.
  • For managed service medias, ensure that the relevant third parties are brief accurately and to follow up on media execution in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all campaigns are monitored closely & pacing well.
  • Timely delivery and upkeep of all relevant reporting systems and templates (media plans, interim reports reports).
  • Management of post campaign reporting that quantifies the value of the media strategy.

7. Finance communication

  • Ensure media invoices are checked correctly and returned to Finance within the agreed timeframe.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ongoing ownership of reporting and management of the trading team to ensure 100% accuracy.
