Mechanical Technician

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in product validation and qualification activities during product development
• Perform product mechanical testing based on the test plan and work instruction
• Ensure testing complete within set timeframe
• Perform defect identification and defect diagnosis
• Create valid and accurate test report to engineer
• Participate in initial test setups and test preparation
• Participate in defect troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Assist in maintaining test equipment

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant studies
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical testing or a similar role
• Experience in plastic injection or electro-mechanical assembly will be advantageous
• Experience in mechanical design and plastic material properties will be advantageous
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
