Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are representing a well-established automation solutions provider specializing in the design, manufacturing, and installation of automated material handling systems across Singapore and Southeast Asia. The company delivers innovative, end-to-end engineering solutions to a wide range of industrial clients and is expanding its project execution team.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to support on-site installation, commissioning, and project delivery activities for material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, assembly, and setup of material handling equipment in accordance with project requirements
• Support site supervisors and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of equipment to meet company standards and client specifications
• Assist in project execution across both brownfield and greenfield sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site mechanical issues to support project delivery objectives
• Work independently in site environments that may be challenging or dynamic in nature
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical installation, equipment setup, or maintenance (preferably in material handling or related systems)
• Comfortable with hands-on work in industrial or construction site environments
• Willingness to travel overseas for project deployment when required
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a good team spirit
