Job Description

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)

Shift: 12-hour Perm Day or Night Shift

Shift Pattern 1: Sun-Wed (4 days) alternate Sun-Tues (3 days) (4 headcount)

Shift Pattern 2 : Thurs-Sat (3 days) alternate Wed-Sat (4 days) (4 headcount)

Start Date: July 1, 2026 onwards

About the Role

Join our MSB Test Engineering team to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, equipment conversions, and provide hands-on operational support to ensure optimal tool performance, safety, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on:
  • Handler and tester machines
  • Supporting tools (e.g., ionizers, hoists)
  • Execute machine conversions/changeovers to support different product setups in line with global machine specifications.
  • Support basic troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Assist technicians with equipment handling, setup, and daily operations.
  • Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and work instructions.
  • Maintain communication and documentation using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in:
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Or related technical disciplines

Technical Skills

  • Familiar with mechanical and electrical tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, soldering tools).
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools (e.g., multimeters, scopes) is an advantage.

Work Skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Physically fit to handle manual operational tasks.

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. 0-3 years of experience
