Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment. The candidate will be involved in site works, inspections, and coordination with project teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and procedures
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams on daily activities
- Maintain proper documentation and service records
Requirements:
- Diploma / Higher Nitec / equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willing to work on-site and follow project schedules
Additional Information:
- Candidates with experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects will have an advantage
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices is preferred
