Mechanical Technical Officer (Fire Protection System)

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, testing and installation of fire alarm systems
• Diagnose and rectify faults in fire alarm and smoke control systems
• Perform maintenance of fire sprinkler, hydrant and deluge pump systems
• Monitor and operate the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and fire alarm systems
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure system reliability
• Respond promptly to critical system breakdowns and emergency situations
• Manage fire alarm isolations in accordance with approved procedures
• Support tunnel closures and coordinate maintenance activities during planned works
• Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in daily operations and project execution
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WSH, safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in facilities management (Experience in underground tunnel operations is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and fire protection systems
• CFME Level 6 certification or higher
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Positive mindset with a strong safety focus
