Mechanical Piping Engineer
- Review machinery and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Interpret classification rules and standards to address review comments and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate familiarity with equipment specifications and installation requirements, including main engines, generators, propulsion systems, gearboxes,hydraulic equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems.
- Possess strong knowledge of marine piping systems such as bilge, ballast, tank gauging, cooling, fuel oil, sanitary and fire protection systems.
- Select appropriate pump types, compressors, pipe materials, wall thicknesses, valves and pipe fittings to meet pressure ratings and functional requirements.
- Working with a team of engineers to develop the detail 3D ship model for production. Job involving interfacing and clash check on routing of pipe systems, HVAC, electrical system installation and others.
- Generate MTO for pipe routing, fittings and pipe spool for production.
Qualification:-
1. Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or diploma in marine engineering
2. At least 5 years relevant working experience in shipyard
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD
4. Good computer skills
5. Understand shipbuilding and project processes. Able to comprehend the technical specification and discuss projects with customers.

9. Required to travel to Batam or other countries for technical meeting when necessary
