Key Responsibilities
Assemble machinery and mechanical components based on engineering drawings and specifications
Operate machining equipment such as CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines
Ensure all production activities meet quality and technical standards
Conduct performance testing and functional checks on machinery and components
Use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances
Record test results and prepare reports
Perform maintenance and repair of construction machinery (e.g., excavators, cranes, loaders)
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement corrective actions
Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for basic design modifications
Assist engineers in improving product design and manufacturing processes
Follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment repair
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Good problem-solving skills and hands-on ability
Willingness to work in a workshop or site environment
Experience with construction machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, cranes)
