MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER #SGUNITEDJOBS

Job Responsibilities:

• Design a wide range of customized mechanical equipment mainly for offshore installations
• Direct accountability in managing individual efficiency and on schedule completion of work
• Work within a team setting and manage all functions in order to accomplish the tasks within the planned timing schedule
• Work closely with the Sales, Projects and Operations departments
• Adhere to design and process systems in accordance with ISO 9001 guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years experience in design of heavy mechanical structures and drive systems
• Independent in design and liaise with customer on technical specs and requirement.
• Good personality and willing to take on challenges
• Display good teamwork and communication skills
• Proficient in Autocad with the ability to produce detailed Production Engineering drawings
• Proficient with 3D modeling and finite element analysis
• Experienced in mechanical engineering calculations and component selection
• Experienced with ABS/DNV/BV class codes and standards
• Experienced with FMECA documentation and report writing
