Concept, Functional and Preliminary design ofancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilationsystems, and drainage systems.
Preparation of General Arrangement andequipment layout drawings.
Preparation of mechanical process equipment andpump specifications.
Review and evaluation of vendor submissions.
Coordination with other disciplines eg civil,structural, electrical, building systems, and instrumentation & controldesigners.
Attend meetings, discussions to liaise withclients, contractors, vendors and to participate/ lead design discussions.
Provide engineering support for bids &proposals.
Provideengineering support during construction
Provideengineering support during commissioning
Designmanagement and project management of proposals and projects where the scope isprimarily mechanical / process.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PEB recognized universities
The candidate shall have about 5 years of experience in mechanical design works, preferably with contractor experience in water and wastewater industry
Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment processes and relevant mechanical design criteria will be advantageous, by reviewing pump calculations, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams and technical specifications
General experience in other discipline criteria associated with water and/or wastewater treatment, including civil, process, EICA and project management, will be an advantage.
General understanding of client regulatory environments.
Budget management experience will be an advantage.
Ability to rationalize designs and produce economic plant layouts.
