Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review mechanical systems, components, and equipment
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical works
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
- Prepare reports, method statements, and technical documentation
- Support cost estimation, procurement, and material selection
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant experience in mechanical engineering works (site or design)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and engineering standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with safety regulations and workplace safety practices
- Good problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, plant maintenance, or M&E works
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Understanding of MOM / safety compliance requirements (where applicable)
