Mechanical Engineer (Singapore)

Job Summary

Responsible for the mechanical design and engineering of industrial water/wastewater treatment systems, from detailed design through testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and engineering calculations.
• Prepare equipment datasheets, piping schedules, equipment lists, valve lists, and instrument lists.
• Review 3D skid models, GA drawings, piping details, and skid structures for compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) engineers and other project teams.
• Manage vendor/fabricator/sub-contractor inquiries, quotations, and engineering deliverables.
• Participate in internal and client design reviews.
• Prepare O&M manuals and support testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment.
• Strong experience in complex skid-based water treatment system design.
• O&G industry experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively in multicultural teams.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willing to travel.
