Mechanical Engineer (Singapore)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and P&IDs based on project requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare equipment and piping documents, including equipment lists, valve lists, piping schedules and instrument lists.
• Review 3D models, equipment skids, piping and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) engineers.
• Communicate with vendors and review quotations and technical documents.
• Ensure designs and vendor deliverables meet project and customer specifications.
• Participate in design reviews with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare O&M manuals and support testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment.
• Experience designing skid-based industrial water treatment systems.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards and specifications.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Able to work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Willing to travel.
