Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer will support the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems related to commuter facilities - such as pumps, fans, lifts, or ventilation equipment - ensuring functionality, safety, and LTA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical assets and components.
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical system reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with equipment standards and specifications.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical system maintenance or installation.
- Familiar with LTA requirements, SS531, and relevant local codes.
- Strong coordination skills and knowledge of M&E systems in public infrastructure.
