Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will support the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems related to commuter facilities such as pumps, fans, lifts, or ventilation equipment ensuring functionality, safety, and LTA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical assets and components.
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical system reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with equipment standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical system maintenance or installation.
- Familiar with LTA requirements, SS531, and relevant local codes.
- Strong coordination skills and knowledge of M&E systems in public infrastructure.
