Job Descriptions:
- Experienced in operating a range of forming and stamping equipment, including vertical and horizontal electric or hydraulic machines.
- Skilled in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of jigs and fixtures for mechanical components.
- Proficient in interpreting mechanical part drawings, including detailed dimensions, tolerances, and cosmetic specifications.
- Understanding of mechanical component design, structural requirements, and effective problem-solving techniques.
- Familiar with CNC and injection molding (IM) process flows, including machine operation, basic programming, and resolving mechanical or material issues.
- Prior experience with first-article inspections and mold qualification for mechanical parts is advantageous.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders in China to provide production support and drive continuous improvement towards meeting or exceeding established KPIs.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of plastic injection molding machines, including both single-shot and multi-shot molding processes.
- Materials & Process Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of plastic materials; hands-on experience with plastic injection molding. Familiarity with vertical insert molding is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in dimensional analysis of molded parts and troubleshooting issues related to part aesthetics, raw materials, and mold performance.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experienced in operating and maintaining hot runner systems, oil temperature controllers, robotic arms, and vertical insert molding machines.
- Software Skills: Proficient in 2D/3D CAD tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication: B3 in O Level Chinese, or equivalent, is required to support Chinese speaking internal and external stakeholder.
