1. Requirement Assessment & Product Design
- Conduct feasibility analysis of customer requirements, evaluating profitability and technical viability.
- Translate customer expectations into actionable quality standards, including Special Characteristics and critical dimension control.
2. Pilot Production & Testing Leadership
- Organize and lead trial runs, overseeing appearance, dimensional, functional, and reliability testing.
- Coordinate customer sample validation and prepare comprehensive PPAP documentation for production approval.
3. Cross-Department Collaboration & Issue Resolution
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, mold development teams, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Analyze anomalies from trial production, implement corrective actions, and verify solution effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Experience:
- 3-5 years in product design, development, or quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D setting.
- Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and other quality planning tools.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other quality standards.
- Experience in leading trial builds, sample testing, and validation activities.
Software Proficiency:
- Skilled in CAD tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with systems like SAP, PLM, or QMS is a plus.
