To design & develop 3D models, 2D detailed fabrication drawings, general arrangements, and layouts.
To prepare the bill of materials and weight calculations.
To ensure all work is performed with no errors and as per the drafting standards, project specifications, guidelines, and company procedures as advised by the senior members.
To undertake back-drafting of drawings to reflect corrections that need to be made to the initial documentation. Revises drawings incorporating subsequent modifications.
To prepare As Built drawings following receipt of markups from the site and project team.
Coordination of their discipline drawings with other discipline draftspersons.
To distribute yard drawings to the relevant department.
To follow up on the relevant problem of the distributed drawings.
To undertake other supporting tasks as assigned and deemed reasonable.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 yrs. Experience with strong technical skills using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Exposure to Fabrication is an advantage.
Can work independently and can be a team player to work with project teams and peers
Strong and confident verbal and written communication skills (English & if also Chinese advantageous)
