About JFSL
We're a boutique tuition centre in Bedok Reservoir Park. We run small-group and 1-to-1 lessons using our G.A.P. Method (Gauge Analyse Perfect) to build clear understanding and confident results.

Role
Teach KS3 / Lower Secondary (Years 7-9) Maths and support transition into IGCSE (Edexcel/CAIE). Lessons are after school and weekends small classes (max 4) and 1-to-1.

What you'll do

• Plan and deliver clear, syllabus-aligned lessons (Edexcel focus).
• Run quick diagnostics, teach the fix, and check transfer to new problems.
• Set purposeful practice (retrieval, spaced review), mark efficiently, and give short parent updates.
• Prepare students for topic tests and IGCSE foundation/early extended content.
• Contribute resources (DrFrost, Desmos, White Rose/Edexcel) and keep tidy lesson notes.

You'll be great at

• Explaining algebra, number, ratio & proportion, geometry, graphs, probability/statistics with step-by-step clarity.
• Managing small groups keeping lessons calm, focused, and encouraging.
• Using data to adapt teaching and show progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Maths/Engineering/Science (or strong A-level/IB HL Maths + teaching track record).
• 2+ years tutoring/teaching KS3 or IGCSE Maths.
• Familiar with Edexcel schemes of work, past papers, and assessment objectives.
• Right to work in Singapore (part-time/contract).

Nice to have

• Experience with IB MYP / IBDP, MOE Lower Sec, or PSLE bridging.
• Comfort with technology (Desmos/GeoGebra/DrFrost).
• Interest in STEAM/robotics (optional).

Hours & Location

• Weekdays 3-8pm, Weekends 10am-6pm (flexible scheduling).
