Job Description & Requirements
- Assess clients individual needs and wellness goals through detailed consultations, identifying areas of tension, stress, or fatigue to tailor massage techniques accordingly.
- Apply a variety of non-medical massage modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, and foot reflexology, to enhance physical relaxation and promote overall well-being.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of muscle structure, pressure points, and energy flow to optimize the therapeutic impact of each massage session, while ensuring client safety and comfort at all times.
- Monitor client responses during sessions and adjust techniques as necessary to maintain efficacy and prevent discomfort or adverse reactions.
- Maintain a hygienic and tranquil environment by sterilizing equipment, changing linens after every session, and adhering to strict sanitation protocols in line with industry best practices.
- Offer professional recommendations on massage frequency, self-care routines, and complementary non-medical wellness therapies based on observed conditions and client feedback.
- Keep accurate and confidential records of each session, including client preferences, feedback, and any notable physical or behavioral observations that may influence future sessions.
- Demonstrate a high standard of customer service by fostering trust, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions, ensuring a positive client experience that supports retention and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Collaborate with wellness consultants, receptionists, and other team members to coordinate bookings, manage time efficiently, and uphold a smooth daily operation within the spa or wellness facility.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and technical skills through workshops, courses, and industry events to stay updated with evolving trends in holistic therapies and non-medical massage practices.
