Job Description:
As the Global Marketing Manager / Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth internationally. You will leverage your multilingual skills and global network to establish and nurture relationships with clients overseas, while traveling frequently to key markets to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global marketing strategies aligned with business objectives to increase brand presence and sales across multiple regions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities internationally through client meetings, networking, and industry events.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective international clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored event solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, creative, operations) to deliver seamless event marketing campaigns and client experiences.
- Oversee digital marketing, social media, and content initiatives targeting diverse markets and languages.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks in global markets.
- Manage marketing budgets and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Represent the company at overseas events, trade shows, and client meetings as a brand ambassador.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the events, hospitality, or experiential marketing industries.
- Past event planning/ organising experience.
- Proven track record of managing international clients and generating sales across multiple countries.
- Proficiency in at least two or more languages (e.g., English, Mandarin, Spanish, French etc.) - fluency in English is a must.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across cultures.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively overseas.
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on experience in digital marketing and campaign execution.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- No fixed working hours, you are required to travel whenever there are overseas client enquiries.
