Role Overview

You will lead trading for Gold perpetuals and related cross-asset strategies (XAUUSD, Gold futures, and crypto settled synthetic Gold instruments). Your role blends discretionary understanding of macro and commodity flows with systematic market-making logic adapted to crypto derivatives markets

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate market-making, relative-value, and hedging strategies for Gold perps
• Develop fair-value models incorporating macro factors, commodity flows, futures curves, and volatility structure
• Oversee risk management, delta exposure, and multi-venue inventory balancing
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize quoting behavior, auto-hedging rules, and outlier-event protections
• Analyze exchange liquidity, funding mechanics, and order-book irregularities
• Explore cross-asset opportunities (Gold vs. BTC, Gold vs. stocks, Gold vs. FX) where appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of trading Gold or metals markets (spot, futures, or OTC)
• Solid grasp of commodity market fundamentals, macro impacts, and volatility dynamics
• Experience with systematic, execution-driven trading environments
• Comfortable using analytical tools (Python, R, or similar)
• Strong risk discipline and experience managing high-leverage positions
• Ability to work closely with technical teams to refine strategy logic
