Job Description

About the Role

Reports to the Head of L&H Client Markets SEA and works in close partnership with Client Managers, Senior Client Managers, and the SEA cross functional teams, including Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Technical Accounting (TA), FP&A, Valuation, Operations and other relevant partners.

Support the SEA Client Markets team in delivering the Total Account Management agenda by enabling strong cross functional coordination, disciplined operational execution, and high quality client and business management support across both new business and in force portfolios. The role acts as a key connector across market teams and support functions, helping Client Managers and market leadership stay close to clients while maintaining strong governance, portfolio oversight, and execution discipline aligned with the SEA target operating model and Client Account Management Practice (CAMP).

Key Responsibilities:

1.Drive client planning, stakeholder management and commercial support

Coordinate client and stakeholder planning activities across SEA, including stakeholder mapping, maintenance of engagement lists, and follow up of client engagement priorities. Support the preparation of market overviews, presentations, and other commercial content for internal and external meetings.

2. Prepare management information, analyses and business tracking

Consolidate and analyse internal and external market / business information to support account management, portfolio monitoring and decision making. Maintain trackers, summaries and reporting packs across areas such as stakeholder engagement, and selected new business or in force analyses. Support ad hoc data extraction and reconciliation when deeper analysis is needed.

3. Coordinate new business volume forecasting and estimation

Coordinate the quarterly and year end new business volume forecasting and estimation process. Support the consolidation of pipeline updates, TA data, planning assumptions and prior quarter information, and work with CM, FP&A, Pricing, TA and Valuation to prepare, review and update volume estimates, new business summaries and related follow ups.

4. Strengthen operational excellence and governance

Support the SEA Client Markets team on operational rigor and governance topics, including coordination of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or control related inputs, evidence collation, commentary preparation, process follow up and monitoring of key actions. Help ensure that relevant requirements, policies and controls are properly tracked and reflected in business processes and team deliverables.

5. Facilitate communication, change and capability building

Prepare and coordinate internal communications, playbacks, training or change materials that help the SEA team align around new frameworks, target operating model updates, process changes and market priorities. Contribute to presentations and knowledge sharing materials used in SEA forums, strategy sessions and team capability building initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, insurance or another relevant discipline
  • Around 5 to 6 years of work experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, consulting, business support, operations, or other relevant roles
  • Candidates with experience from related fields are welcome, especially if they have worked in cross-functional, analytical, or business coordination roles
  • Good understanding of insurance or reinsurance business processes, or the ability to learn quickly in a business-facing support role
  • Experience in coordinating across different stakeholders and supporting business activities in a structured and organised way
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data, trackers, reports and business information
  • Experience preparing presentations, meeting materials, summaries, or business updates for different audiences
  • Familiarity with planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, or estimation processes is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Exposure to business systems and tools is helpful, but deep technical expertise is not required
  • Experience supporting client-related, commercial, operational, or governance-related activities would be an advantage
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
  • Comfortable balancing attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Able to organise work well, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on actions in a timely manner
  • Curious, adaptable and willing to learn new business areas, processes and systems
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a practical and positive attitude
  • Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
  • Confident working in a multicultural and cross-functional environment
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic setting where priorities may evolve
  • Willing to suggest improvements and contribute to more efficient ways of working
