Job Description

Job Role Summary:

The Manager, Programme and Community Partnership will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of meaningful programmes that enrich the lives of seniors and strengthen community engagement. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and volunteers to design initiatives that promote active ageing, social integration, and wellness for residents in our care. The Manager will play a key role in cultivating sustainable partnerships that align with organisational goals and national community care strategies.

You will need to:

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of senior-centric programmes across residential care centres
  • Identify needs of the resident population and design programmes to improve psychosocial well-being, inclusion, and quality of life
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with community organisations, corporate sponsors, schools, and volunteer groups
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration and mutual support for programme initiatives
  • Oversee the end-to-end coordination of programme logistics, resources, and budgets
  • Evaluate programme outcomes and impact through feedback, data tracking, and reporting
  • Work closely with operations, nursing, and therapy teams to integrate programmes with resident care plans
  • Develop frameworks for volunteer management, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and recognition
  • Represent the organisation at community engagement events and build awareness of NTUC Health's mission
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and funding requirements related to community programmes

Qualifications

You should:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Gerontology, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including programme planning, stakeholder engagement, and community partnerships
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Be experienced in project and event management, including budget planning and outcome evaluation
  • Show strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Be passionate about improving the lives of seniors and building inclusive communities

It would be great if you:

  • Have experience working in the healthcare, eldercare, or community care sectors
  • Are able to speak in a local dialect or second language to engage effectively with seniors and community partners who may be more comfortable using these languages.
