Marine superintendent (engineer)

Responsibilities:

. Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with company quality and safety system for a given number of vessels.

. To manage the daily operation of the number of vessels assigned to him

. Follow up class and statutory matters and surveys

. Arrange and follow up repairs and services

. Visit vessel regularly

. Review monthly cost control, prepare annual budget

. Prepare management reports for owners

. Dry-docking arrangement

. Follow up purchasing and approve invoices for payment

. Follow up onboard maintenance system follow up reported deficiencies and non-conformities.

Requirements:

. Experience required

. Able to start work immediately

. Have positive attitude with good communication skills

. Well versed in Microsoft office

. Able to communicate and correspond fluently with our English/Mandarin speaking client

. Minimum relevant diploma/degree
