Key Responsibilities
Marine Engine Maintenance & Repair
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues
- Repair and service remote control systems, automation, and safety systems
Field Service & Shipyard Operations
- Execute repair works at shipyards, anchorages, and vessel locations
- Handle lifting, dismantling, and reinstallation of heavy engine components
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with operational requirements
Customer & Operational Support
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues and service updates
- Provide timely response to breakdowns and urgent service calls
- Support operations manager in assigned technical duties
Standby & Emergency Support
- Participate in weekend standby rotation schedule
- Respond to emergency service calls when activated
- Support extended or overnight repair works when required
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in marine engine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
