Job Description

MARCOMMS EXECUTIVE (1 YEAR CONTRACT)

As the Marcomms Executive of Civil Service Club (CSC), you will be responsible for strengthening the Club's online presence via search engine optimisation, and creating compelling visuals and digital contents for marketing campaigns. You will play the roles of designer, visual storyteller, and content creator, while also supporting brand management. This position reports directly to the Marcomms Manager. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Club's E-Fusion and editorial calendar while work closely with the Marcomms team to plan and execute content strategies.
  2. Produce high-quality, engaging short- and long-form articles such as listicles, case studies, interviews, behind-the-scenes, reviews, event write-ups, that aligns with the Club's marketing priorities, seasonal activities and promotions.
  3. Optimise articles with the relevant keywords to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.
  4. Track and analyse article performance using Google Analytics and refine strategies for better results.
  5. Monitor trends and topics to identify timely and relevant content opportunities.
  6. Design and produce eye-catching visuals for campaigns, events and promotions, as well as corporate and marketing collaterals across print and digital platforms.
  7. Manage the brand page on the intranet, act as a brand advocate, and guide colleagues on visual best practices to ensure a consistent and positive brand identity across all platforms and touchpoints.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop contents and campaign assets.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Visual Communications, Digital and Content Marketing, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in Marketing or Marketing Communications, Graphic Design and Content Creation.
  3. Proficient in writing for online articles, and good knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and optimisation.
  4. Familiarity with AI tools for research, fact-checking, drafting, refining and optimising content.
  5. Creative mindset with strong visual ability, good knowledge and application of design principles, and have the ability to produce clear and engaging campaign posters and banners.
  6. Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools (Canva).
  7. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  8. Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
