MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Description

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.

• Plan production activities, manpower, materials and equipment to ensure efficient operations.

• Lead and supervise production staff, ensuring compliance with company SOPs, food safety and workplace safety requirements.

• Monitor production performance, productivity, wastage and operating costs.

• Work closely with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments to resolve operational issues.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement measures to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

• Ensure proper production records, reports and documentation are maintained.

• Support audits and ensure compliance with relevant food safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field will be preferred

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production, with supervisory/management experience.

• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety and manufacturing processes.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Experience in production planning, manpower management and continuous improvement.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support shift operations when required
