MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance and optimize productivity, quality, and cost.
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers, and factory staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, and sales departments.
• Manage production budgets, material usage, and inventory control.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs, and management updates.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained to minimize downtime.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of manufacturing or production management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and quality management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Knowledge of automation and production optimization.
• Excellent team management and project coordination skills.
