Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily production targets are achieved while maintaining good quality standards, process compliance, line discipline, and housekeeping
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and specifications
• Liaise with supporting departments to address and resolve abnormalities encountered on the production line
• Monitor machine stoppages and escalate long downtime stoppages
• Prepare and report production incidents occurring on the line
• Manage manpower allocation according to production requirements
• Assist in preparing and monitoring production reports, including Output and WIP reports
• Identify and implement improvement plans and activities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
• Provide guidance and coaching to Supervisors
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement of 6S practices across all shifts

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an advantage
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
