Job Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process and production issues to minimise downtime.
• Analyse manufacturing processes, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality, yield and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation, cycle time reduction, cost reduction, Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Support NPI, product transfers, engineering changes and manufacturing readiness, including preparation of work instructions, SOPs and process documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Product Engineering and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, automation or equipment manufacturing.
• Experience in production support, process improvement, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with NPI, engineering changes, process validation and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions.

Advantageous Skills: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, NPI, ERP/MRP or MES will be an advantage.
