The Mandarin Interpreter VRI role is a remote contract position. The interpreter will be responsible for providing video remote interpretation (VRI) services for various clients, ensuring clear and accurate communication. Daily tasks include interpreting during client calls, managing interpretation schedules, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The interpreter will also use our proprietary Interpreter Management System to track assignments and ensure quality service.

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong verbal communication skills
• Proficient in video remote interpretation and on-demand call systems
• Ability to manage schedules and handle multiple interpretation tasks
• Experience in interpreting for diverse industries and settings
• Understanding of cultural sensitivity and client confidentiality
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Certification in interpretation or a related field is a plus
