NCSS Social Service Tribe Study Award - Sponsorship (OT/PT/SLT)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission - To Serve Mankind - to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors Community, and Therapy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (Therapy Services) is currently open for OT / PT / SLT sponsorship under NCSSSocial Service Tribe Study Award. This award is for existing enrolled SIT and NUS students ONLY, subject to our internal assessment, an interview and ensures that students meet all requirements listed. There are limited vacancies assigned to us by NCSS, and we would like to first share this with you who have done placements with us.

The application window is from 1 August to 29 August 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident who is willing to take up Singapore Citizenship
• Be a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student who has gained admission into one of the supported courses of study in a local institution recognised by professional associations
• Currently not be a full-time employee at any organisation
• Currently not be receiving any scholarships or sponsorships
• Have a recommended GPA of minimum 60%
• Be able to serve a bond period with THKMC upon graduation and
• For the mid-term study award: Applicant must apply by the first semester of their final academic year.

We will look at the remaining years of studies and provide a fixed amount in 2 batches (signing of award offer & upon graduation). You will also be required to have sureties for this sponsorship.

Based on the amount offered and the remaining years of studies left, the bond period will apply accordingly.
