Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization's overall business strategy in line with Board directives
  • Translate Board-approved strategy into executable operational plans
  • Take full accountability for company performance, profitability, and sustainability
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all business functions
  • Ensure achievement of financial targets, including revenue, margin, and cash flow
  • Prepare and present business plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to the Board
  • Ensure effective corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate policies
  • Act as the principal link between the Board and management
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the management team
  • Set KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability frameworks
  • Drive business growth initiatives, market expansion, and new opportunities
  • Approve major contracts, investments, and expenditures within authorised limits
  • Represent the company to key clients, partners, regulators, auditors, and stakeholders
  • Lead organisational change, restructuring, and transformation initiatives
  • Oversee talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Promote a strong corporate culture, ethics, and values
  • Manage crisis situations, reputational risks, and operational issues
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent management reporting
  • Safeguard the company's assets, intellectual property, and reputation
  • Ensure business continuity and resilience planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Finance, or related discipline
  • Extensive senior leadership experience
  • Proven track record in business management, operations, and P&L ownership
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
  • Excellent financial acumen and understanding of corporate governance
  • Experience working closely with or reporting to a Board of Directors
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage complex organizations and change initiatives
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance
  • Experience in regional or multi-entity operations is an advantage
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
