Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively drive and expand the Tubular Products business across APAC region in collaboration with group companies and business partners.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of existing businesses through strategic planning, operational improvement, and portfolio optimization.
  • Identify regional market opportunities and customer needs, and effectively communicate business insights to headquarters while ensuring alignment with overall group and regional strategies.
  • Support the coordination and management of multiple affiliated and partner companies through close day-to-day engagement, fostering constructive relationships and sustainable business growth.
  • Play an active role in people management, including performance evaluation, talent development, and capability building within the Tubular Products Unit.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new business opportunities beyond conventional trading activities, with a particular focus on carbon neutrality and next-generation business models.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant strategic business units and other regional business units to develop integrated, forward-looking solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree, with at least 15 years of working experience
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of trading, project-based businesses, and portfolio management.
  • Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in regional and cross-border contexts.
  • Strategic thinking capability to align regional initiatives with group-wide and headquarters-driven strategies.
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including group companies, business partners, and headquarters.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and navigating differing interests in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Leadership capability to manage, evaluate, and develop team members, fostering performance, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Strong coordination and execution skills to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously in a dynamic business environment.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to think beyond conventional business models and propose value-creating, forward-looking solutions.
  • Knowledge of sustainability-related business trends, including carbon neutrality, energy transition, or related emerging fields.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies, with sensitivity to regional and global business practices.
  • Analytical skills to assess business performance, risks, and opportunities, and to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in representing the company externally and internally.
