Oversees, direct and manage programs to maintain the medical equipment, electronics system and telephony systems.
Plans and implements high quality and cost-effective equipment management and maintenance program in support of the Hospitals clinical programs.
Responsible to provide the technical expertise for planning and evaluating new medical equipment technologies and systems.
Overall responsibility for the operations and maintenance of the various departments. Act as a resource person to guide in the investigation and difficult problem solving issues. This includes failure analysis and incident investigation.
Handles system management matters including contracts, licensing, insurances and claims, physical capital assets, repair and maintenance and end of life deliverables. Represent TTSH in liaising with authorities and external parties.
Plans, directs and manages cost management, risks and avoidance measures, including but not limited to IT cybersecurity risk and compliance.
Plans and manages continuous improvement and special projects to provide better service and/or reduce costs.
Prepares and management of budget, oversee the processing of invoices/purchase, negotiation of service level agreement and other measures to support hospital operations.
Recruitment, management & development of staff through training, coaching and performance management to achieve high level of technical/organizational skills.
Manages and motivates staff. Responsible for their career planning and professional development.
Ensures compliance with the hospitals quality management systems.
Representing TTSH in hospital or cluster committees including Technology Assessment, Cyber Defence and other committees.
Manages vendor relationships in a timely, professional and cost effective manner.
Oversees the design and work requirements for new systems related capital projects, expense projects, and grant funded projects.
Assists the Director with ongoing operations of the hospital.
